up many steps

past elsie st. (name of my grandmother on my dad's side. i never met her.)

looking down

and out to the bay
sure is pretty up there on bernal hill—probably my favorite walk in SF.
i met many dogs out with their dogwalkers. packs of mismatched furry guys.
the fog was starting to roll in on the other side of the hill when i left and a cold air was rolling in with it.
ps. thanks to all who stopped by on sunday! it was super fun.

Hi me cozy
I'm not sure how I got here. Yours is such a pleasant site. I love the photos on this post. I live in the mid-west, so nothing is really quite as sublime as you guys on the west coast.
Your reading list is delightful. I think we have the same taste in books, but you read about four times as much as I do.
I read your long post about leaving your desk job and then falling into the swirling waters of what to do with your life. It touched me deeply.
Also, I loved the photo of you and your friend as children on St. Lucia Day. Beautiful.
what a beautiful walk - such nice views, i do love a hill!...x
