mormor resting



this tiny embroidery hangs on the wall (the wall you can't see in the above photo) by mormor's bed. i thought the two pink photos looked nice together. the embroidery is by my aunt, ulrika lonna, who is an amazing arist. i will post more recent embroideries by her on monday.

Härligt att du haft det så bra på din resa till Sverige! Hoppas du fått tillbringa så mycket tid som du ville ihop med din mormor (fast det kan nog aldrig bli tillräckligt). Mormödrar vet så mycket!
Jag njuter av dina bilder och ser fram emot fler uppdateringar från din resa. Jag var förresten på Marimekko idag, men tyget jag var sugen på var inte alls som jag hade tänkt mig det. Jag fick gå därifrån tomhänt. Trist.
