wanna play?
things you can't tell from this photo:
it was taken yesterday around 11:15 am. (very late breakfast)
it was about 50 degrees farenheit in the kitchen, before i opened the oven door to let out the biscuit warmth.
i was wearing my clothes and a blanket.
i had to heat up some old, stiff honey to pour on the biscuit.
i think i got sick from this old honey later on.
it was quiet and pinky and i were the only ones home.
pinky leon jumped onto the table and tried to sniff the butter. (if i wasn't there, i'm sure he'd have done more than sniff.)
i moved the organic brown sugar (for the tea) off to the side for the photo because it didn't look pretty.
i have four and a half biscuits left over.
next time i'm making pancakes from the trader joes mix instead of biscuits.
i am just remembering the above, but i think it would be fun to do a project where you take a photo and note everything else going on at that time. a different kind of five senses game. wanna play? maybe friday?

P.S.
I don't want to be a teacher either. I never have, but always thought it sounded so noble and with a love of learning and children it would be "right"! But, of course it wouldn't be so noble if it doesn't feel good, ay?
In any event, as you know, there are teachers of many kinds and I am de*lurking here and now to tell you that I have learned a great deal from your blog about living richly and beautifully and that, my friend, makes you a teacher! So there. Now, if only matters of vocation were so easy...
ahh, i love these still life photos. :D and the things that i can't tell from it are so interesting! so good.
Great idea! I'm on for friday :-)

i'll try and play this afternoon...if i get through my pile of articles to translate.
my morning meeting got pushed back so i joined in earlier than i thought i could. :)
That sure looks like it beats the moffeteria biscuits by a mile! I had one last week and missed you! Of course, it was as tasteless and dry as usual, but for some reason, it worked. Go figure.
See you next week!
It sounds like fun, I'll join you next friday *^v^*
I'm in too - if it's OK to do it on a non-friday?? ;-)
